Greetings, I am having trouble fixing the delayed reinforcements? I dont think I am doing it right the correct line isnt in the file. I am pasting the contents of the medieval preference config file....

I have started a campaign and my config file appears the same. Any other ideas? does another program need to be used as viewer to read this file with vista? I am somewhat of a computer novice.

That's the wrong cfg, Vista stores it in : C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\

You can only control 20 units at any one time. If you want the other parts of your army on the field, they will have to be under AI control.

umm, I only found rome total wars(since I have that installed also), preference cfg in there? is it because I have rome installed? no medieval II in there

Rome works differently. Same game mechanic, but the config file is different. Go to preferences/preferences.txt and set UNLIMITED_MEN_ON_BATTLEFIELD:TRUE If the line isn't in there, then add it in.

yeah umm, ive searched my entire computer and I can only find one medieval preferences cfg-file and folder only has: [video] widescreen=1 [game] allusers=1 so umm, wtf?

Make sure your cearch has "Search hidden files and folders" enabled. Vista has mostly everything hidden by default.
